CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

  • Face Masks to be warn by all Staff, Visitors & Customers apon entry. (If you dont have you can purchase one for a small fee from reception).

  • You will be asked to take a temperature check

  • Your temperature must be below 37.8 Degrees

  • You must adhere to hygiene and social distancing requirements

  • You must remain seated and not gather in groups

  • You must not have been exposed to anyone who has been tested for COVID-19 in the past 14 days unless they have received a negative result

  • You must be feeling well and not experiencing any respiratory symptoms (such as cough, sore/scratchy throat or shortness of breath or unexplained fever)

COVID-19 SAFETY PLAN

  1. Salon capacity must not exceed 10 customers (excluding hairdressing salons) or one customer per 4 square metres, whichever is the lesser.

  2. Displays conditions of entry. 

  3. Reduce crowding wherever possible and promote physical distancing with markers on the floor in areas where people are asked to queue.

  4. Where possible, ensure staff maintain 1.5 metres physical distancing at all times and assign workers to specific workstations.

  5. Ensure seating in waiting and treatment areas complies with physical distancing of 1.5 metres. 

  6. Adopt good hand hygiene practices.

  7. Ensure bathrooms are well stocked with hand soap and paper towels.

  8. Any surfaces customers touch should be cleaned with a detergent or disinfectant solution or wipe between each customer. Towels and linen should be laundered between customers.

  9. Maintain disinfectant solutions at an appropriate strength. 

  10. Clean areas frequented by staff or customers at least daily with detergent or disinfectant.

  11. Clean frequently touched areas and surfaces several times per day with a detergent or disinfectant solution or wipe. In accordance with the manufacturers’ instructions.

  12. Encourage contactless payment options.

  13. Keep a record of the name and a mobile number or email address for all staff, customers and contractors for a period of at least 28 days. Ensure records are used only for the purposes of tracing COVID-19 infections and are stored confidentially and securely.

  14. Make your staff aware of the COVIDSafe app and its benefits to support contact tracing if required.
